Handle: Finished in a matching matte gray bead blast, the stainless steel handles are subtly chamfered for comfort in the hand and smooth pocket transition. A modern, stylish milled pattern on both slabs offers traction for a solid grip while the integral frame lock is smooth, reliable and easy to operate with rock solid lock up for security in use.

8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is significantly lower than S30V but close to 440B. Sharpening should be a breeze.
