Blade: Durable, corrosion resistant Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel is finished with a non-reflective Black TiNi coating for discreet use. A spear point profile is executed with a false edge and high hollow ground recurve edge to provide exceptionally powerful piercing and slicing performance while retaining good toughness. Aggressive jimping on the thumb scoop insures a safe and secure grip during heavy use. Powered by a coil spring mechanism the blade deploys with lightening quickness via the dual thumb studs for ambidextrous operation.

Handle: Lightweight and durable, the black hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles have been contoured for comfort and have milling and finger grooves for a secure grip. A simple yet robust button lock mechanism delivers secure lockup with a slide safety on the spine to avoid unintentional deployment while carrying yet allowing for fast deployment when needed.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up only, stainless steel extra deep carry pocket clip.

Japanese AUS-8 Stainless Steel: a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel offers excellent balance of performance: it has good toughness, corrosion resistance and sharpening response with similar edge retention to 440C.
